The Opportunity

The Construction Inspector will be incorporated into Construction Services projects across our company service lines. They will do meaningful work and have the opportunity to learn from a variety of seasoned professionals in a full-service transportation engineering company. The successful candidate will work on assignments for the Sr. Inspector and from the Project Administrator.  

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Ability to: Communicate effectively in English (verbally and in writing)
  • Responsible for: Performing highly complex technical assignments in field surveying and construction layout, marking, and checking engineering computations, inspecting construction work, and conducting field tests
  • Responsible for: Coordinating and managing the lower level inspectors
  • Responsible for: Performing work under the general supervision of the Project Administrator

Required Credentials

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent 
  • Two years of experience in construction inspection,
  • One year of which shall have been in bridge and/or roadway construction. CTQP Final Estimates Level I
  • CTQP Concrete Field Technician Level I
  • CTQP Concrete Field Inspector Level II (Bridges)
  • CTQP Asphalt Roadway Level I
  • CTQP Asphalt Roadway Level II
  • CTQP Earthwork Construction Inspection Level I
  • CTQP Earthwork Construction Inspection Level II
  • CTQP Pile Driving Inspection
  • CTQP Drilled Shaft Inspection

Possible Compensation: The pay range for this role is based on several factors including education, experience, training, licensure and certifications, work location, specific job duties and other organizational needs. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual and spot incentive program (based on individual and company performance).
