Materials Laboratory Assistant

Job Duties

Materials tests include, but are not limited to:

• Gradations
• Proctors
• Concrete Cylinder Strength Testing
• Hot Mix Asphalt Testing

General Duties

•  Following proper procedures,
•  Completing work in a timely manner,
•  Prepare daily field observation reports and materials testing data sheets;
•  Performing accurate computations, and
•  Maintaining cordial relationships with coworkers, clients, contractors, etc.

• High School Diploma or equivalency
• Construction documentation and materials testing experience preferred
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
