As a water pipeline construction inspector, you’ll monitor the contractor’s on-site construction activities and inspect materials to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and other contract documents related to drainage facilities, road surfaces, pipelines, and wastewater structures. You’ll take field measurements of pay items, report the contractor’s daily production rates, and schedule work and inspection phases with the contractor’s superintendent and agency personnel. Provide support to various project procedures, particularly in documentation development for the final estimate package. The construction inspector reports to the project administrator.

As a roadway engineering designer, you’ll support transportation improvement projects with the design and detailing of local, county, and state roadway and highway projects. You’ll assist with geometric analyses and calculations using established design criteria and standard software. The roadway engineering designer reports to the project manager. Salary Range $70,000-$100,000

As a Group Manager for the Structural Assessment practice at Consor, you will be responsible for leading inspection teams as they perform in the field to protect the traveling public. You will oversee the inspections that use various access methods for these inspections to gain visual access and take appropriate pictures to update the previous report and collect any concerning data. These structures will include mostly bridges; but also tunnels, culverts, ancillary signs and any potential structure to ensure public safety. As a transportation engineering project manager, you’ll lead delivery of roadway improvement projects from conceptual design through preliminary, intermediate, and final design phases to construction.
